Once again, we will be raising money for Colchester Night Shelter. A registered
charity which has been helping homeless people since 1984. The
Night Shelter has room for 20 people and is wholly owned
by the charity.
If you are homeless and have nowhere to stay then you are more than welcome provided you are happy to stick to the house rules. They open at 7.15 every evening and, provided they have space, they will be able to accommodate you.
Having occupied the building where the Night Shelter is for 18 years they have reached a point where a lick of paint simply is not enough to provide the standard of accommodation our homeless residents deserve. The main capital project is therefore the long term refurbishment of the Night Shelter’s bedrooms and lounges. Click here to go to their website.
